It’s January. It’s time to reorganize, get ready and get prepped for the year ahead – that’s what we’ve been up to this week in the studio. We’ll be making a pretty big announcement next week, so stay tuned for the good news.
It’s been one hell of a trip. Two countries, nine states, over 10,000 miles and a dozen amazing individuals met. We were honored to be a part of the Inspire Awards for 2012 and we believe that all of the individuals on that list truly deserve the acclaim. I hope that the anecdotes and behind the scenes we’ve shared have expanded upon the stories that our images begin to tell. These people really are trying to make the world a better place, and it was humbling to be a part of what they’re all involved in.
In case you missed any of them – a recap of our stories and the 2012 AARP Inspire Award winners, the Daring Dozen:
It’s been a good week back in and around the Philly area. A week of classic cars, indie rock, and large format printing – not bad. Chris and I have managed avoid airplanes this week, keeping our shoots local around the NYC and Philly area. This week was also a bit more low-key and gave us the chance to get caught up back at the studio. Keep reading to see what else happened this week…
Just got back to Philadelphia from a project that brought us down to Port Arthur, Texas. Autumn may be starting to creep up upon us here in the northeast, but Texas still brought the heat, with Chris and I shooting in temperatures over 100 degrees.
It was well worth it though, we had a chance to spend the day photographing a truly inspiring subject for an editorial assignment. I wish I could share more details, but the magazine isn’t out yet and we’ve got to keep things under wraps – for now. I can share a handful of behind the scenes photos from our shoot, and you can find them if you keep reading.
