Super excited to share a brand new redesign on Crismanphoto.com as well as a handful of new images this week! We’ve been busy these past few months in between commissioned projects, making time to shoot new personal work. From farmers and shop workers to eccentric musicians, we’ve been producing, casting, and shooting a whole host of new characters for the portfolio.
Make sure to take a few minutes and check out our freshly redesigned website. We’ve reworked the galleries and design to focus on what really matters, the photographs. And there are plenty of them – we’ve added all of Chris’s new personal work as well as new commissioned a handful of new commissioned images.
Going hand-in-hand with this update is a 2015 refresh on our logo. Seeking inspiration from our home state of Pennsylvania (the keystone state, get it?) we collaborated with our friend and art director Rob Story to revamp the Chris’s logo.
Chances are you’ll be seeing it around a lot in the coming months – maybe even embroidered on some hats and tee-shirts. Any takers? Let us know your thoughts below or @crismanphoto and /crismanphoto!
Whew. That’s about all we can say for the last six weeks. Starting in October, lasting through the entire month of November and just now after a quick bite of turkey and some stuffing, we can take a breath and reflect on how crazy-busy we’ve been these past few weeks. Our almost non-stop schedule of shoots has taken us across the country, up to NYC, down to tropical Puerto Rico, and crisscrossing a ton of cities in between including Washington DC, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Detroit to name a few.
So what do we have to show for all of this travel? As always our hands are tied to show the final results, but we’ve really created some beautiful new photos and have great stories to share along with them. For now though, we’ll tell our story through pictures and share a taste of everything we’ve seen. Enjoy!
The past month and a half have sure been a wild ride and it’s not over quite yet. We’ll be jamming straight on through till 2015. As for now though, stay tuned and keep in touch below or @crismanphoto and /crismanphoto!
It’s a big day today – we’ve updated Crismanphoto.com with a ton of new work from the past few months. We’ve been shooting all summer long from coast to coast and finally can share a handful of these new shots – including the image above, shot in the badlands of North Dakota. We’ve been from Philadelphia to Seattle, Idaho to Minneapolis, Nevada to NYC and what feels like everywhere in-between and we have the photos to prove it.
You may notice a few familiar faces and definitely a few new faces under the “New Work” section – we have a ton of stories to share that go along with all of this new work, so keep your eyes peeled for blog posts in the near future.
We’ve also taken time to overhaul our “Portfolio” gallery to reflect the latest updated to our printed book. Chances are you may not have a chance to see our printed book in person anytime soon, but the portfolio gallery now reflects those images that have made it to print.
We kicked of 2013 strong with a brand new print portfolio (check out the video if you haven’t seen it yet) and we’re following it up with an equally large update to www.crismanphoto.com! We’ve put in weeks of work and days upon days of sequencing to get it all right, but we are live with a brand new version of our online portfolio.
Starting from the ground-up, we reworked the presentation of our site with the goal of making Chris’s images all of Chris’s best photos as easily accessible as possible. You can find the latest & greatest pictures in the “New Work” section, and then surf through portfolios of portraits, lifestyle, and landscape work. If that still leaves you wanting more, we’ve included entire image libraries with everything from NASCAR to camping.
