We’re kicking off the week with some really exciting news. Starting February 16th and running for a limited time only, you’ll have a chance to own signed, original landscape photography from Chris Crisman. We’ve partnered with Fab.com, a site that offers exclusive daily design-inspired sales, and we’re really excited to make this limited collection of images available.
It’s been one of those weeks. One of those weeks where I look back at all the photos I’ve taken and places we’ve been and I’ve got a strange collection of things, from ice rinks to southern style grits, to an owl and an energy drink. Keep reading and I’ll do my best to explain…
Many thanks to Scott Kelby and the team at his Photoshop Insider Blog for featuring me as their guest this week! Make sure to read my post, Three Minutes, and check out some of the other great photographers Scott has featured in the past.
PDN Faces 2011 was recently announced and I am extremely happy to share that two photos from my Titusville series of portraits were selected this year, including the portrait of Karen Crisman, a professional dog groomer and my mother. Many thanks to PDN and congrats to Robin Moore, Jacob Murphy, Reed Young (who I share a spread with), and all the other talented photographers who were selected!
We’re on the road, headed back from Montreal, home of the Canadian Grand Prix, and for the past few days, the Formula One world champion, and Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel. The crew and I were on an editorial assignment to shoot some portraits of him during a press day for the Grand Prix.
Hopefully the shot above gives a little idea of the amount of media we were working with during this shoot – it was hectic. Make sure to read more to see a few other behind the scenes moments from our shoot.
We’re a week late but I just wanted to share some photos from the Crisman Memorial Day BBQ.
First things first, a big thank you to Chris and his wife Julie for hosting a great party. Also, many thanks to the talented Jillian Guyette for taking a few shots of everyone enjoying themselves (on film nonetheless – hence the vintage vibe… and why this post is a week late. Film still has to get processed and scanned, remember?).
I hope everyone else had an awesome Memorial Day weekend – check out a few more shots from the party below.
