Weekly Wrap-up, March 25th-29th
It’s Friday and we finally have a minute to catch our breath and look back at the past few days- as usual, it’s been a whirlwind. After a brief stop in Texas, Chris found himself starting off the week in Las Vegas. After only 48 hours (and a few very lucky hands of blackjack later) he moved onward, hopping on a plane to Portland for an editorial shoot, and then back to home base in Philadelphia for the tail end of the week. As for the rest of the Crisman crew, we kept it local these past few days, getting prepared for the next big adventure in the coming weeks. How did it all shake out? Keep reading for a few more shots from this week…
Monday morning brought a cloudy start to a picturesque Pacific Northwest beach scene. Throw in an octabank into that mix and you can’t go wrong.
I should take a moment to thank the superstar Portland assistant Ben Cort for these behind the scenes shots and for all of his help making this shoot happen. Just look at that sweet coil-cabling wrapped on that C-stand; the mark of a true professional.
As for Jared and I, we were hard at work all week running a battery of tests on some new equipment, making sure it will be battle ready for our next big job. And yes, this meant a lot of very close crops on portrait test of Jared.
Which he may not be too happy about – especially after we realize the amount of detail you can see on his nose hairs at 100%.
As with any thorough test, we made prints, lots of prints. Why do we do it? Look no further than this blog post here.
As far as what you may have missed this week on the internet:
Last but not least…
An unreported sighting of Elvis occurred this week… he lives!
