What We’re Thankful For 2015

It’s that time of year again when we can step back from the hustle of our daily routine and reflect for a moment on the past eleven months. The holidays always bring some time for relaxation and reflection, but in my opinion there’s none better than Thanksgiving to really stop and take stock of what one is thankful for.

This year, the team decided to all sit down for a minute this morning and share what 2015 has provided and what that means for us (and we included pictures!) So here we are, what the Crisman team is thankful for:

[Chris]: I am thankful for having the opportunity for such great experiences with what we do – for really wonderful clients that entrust me and our team with such great responsibility. I’m also thankful for my amazing wife and her patience for the unpredictable lifestyle that we live. Lastly, I am thankful for the holiday miracle that we found out our cat Cheese, who was lost for two years has just resurfaced in Rhode Island. Even better news is that Cheese will be rejoining our family on Monday.

[Jared]: I am thankful for my motorcycle, pizza and candy, the greatest friends in the world, and most importantly the opportunity to do what I love with the absolute best people. I wouldn’t be nearly as successful as I am without the support of Chris and Robert. I’m truly thankful to be a part of this team.

[Robert]: I have quite a bit to be thankful for this year. Without sounding like a broken record from years past, I am still and will always be truly thankful for all of the unique, interesting and amazing people that I am privileged to work with – from NYC to LA and everywhere/everyone in between, thank you for being a part of my life and helping our team achieve what we do. I am also very thankful in 2015 for my (recently official) wife and other half, Jillian.

That said, we’re all wishing you a very happy thanksgiving! Eat, drink, enjoy leftovers and be merry!

What We’re Thankful For 2013.

chris crisman thanksgiving 2013

We’re just one day away from Thanksgiving and a well deserved pause from the craziness that 2013 has brought the Crisman team. Certainly there’s turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie and football on all our minds, but we decided to take just a few moments today and share our thoughts on what this year has provided and what it all means. Truth be told, the entire Crisman team couldn’t be gathered all in one place to share our thoughts. Thankfully it is 2013, and a few group text messages, emails and phone calls later, we have it – this is what we’re thankful for:

[Chris]: I’m most thankful for the talent and patience of everyone on our team, we couldn’t make this whole thing work without you all.

[Robert]: 2013 has been quite the year so far – I’m thankful for all of the adventures, all of the new faces I’ve met, and the unique experiences I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of. I’m also very thankful for my family and my other half, Jillian.

[Taisya]: When the year runs its course in a wonderful manner and there are so many things to be thankful for. I’m grateful as usual for all the amazing music that fills my days and accompanies everything i do.

[Heather]: I am so very thankful for John, Dylan, Casey and Brady.  I am thankful for cozy and cuddles and quiet nights at home.  I am thankful when there is nothing to do.  I am thankful for being surrounded by amazing friends who love us and take care of us when we need a little extra love. And, I am thankful to be able to work in such a creative industry with the photographers in our group who continue to inspire me and push me to be my very best.

[Lauranne]: Thankful for Mike, Mary’s hugs & snuggles, my health, my interesting & fun job, Heather’s trust & support, our amazing & creative photographers, connecting with family, hot chocolate & chocolate chip cookies, blue bird ski days, crisp days with warm sun, the sound of waves, good friends, travel, nice wine a good meal and music.

[Carley]: I’m thankful for the small space heater that Taisya keeps in our office – and of course that my fiance Russell asked me to marry him a year ago today!

[Jared]: My family and friends. I know that’s two things but I don’t care, they’re the best.

[Shea]: Does the GoPro HERO 3+ Count?? I’m definitely thankful for that!

[David]: I’m thankful that this month brought my very first paid editorial assignment.

[Tye]: Thankful to live in a region where I can have the perks that major cities offer but am close enough to get away and go hiking.

[Jeff]: Since Jared already said friends and family, I have to say the week’s worth of turkey & dumplings my mom always gives me the day after Thanksgiving – best leftovers ever!! I’m also thankful for beer and minivans, but not at the same time.
