Weekly Wrap-up, November 26th-30th

Another week down – more photos made, more miles logged, more stories to tell. The past week started in Philly and is coming to a close on an airplane back from the great state of South Carolina. We’ve been getting ready for the end of the year and getting excited for 2013 on top of the usual business of making awesome pictures. Happy Labor Day 2012

Happy Labor Day everyone! We’re taking a well deserved break today but wanted to take a minute to say thank you to everyone out there who knows the real meaning of a hard days work. Over the years, Chris has put tons of hardworking men and women in front of his lens. From bakers and brewers to builders, factory workers to CEOs and conversationalists, we’ve been lucky to meet and photograph some very dedicated, hardworking people. Advanced Photopshop Compositing Secrets

We’re happy to report that we have been featured in Advanced Photoshop Magazine issue 98. You might remember back to last summer when they first featured Chris’s work and an interview about his process. We’re back again, this time contributing a handful of tools and tips for maximizing your compositing workflow. Although the magazine is based in the UK, you can order it online or try and pick up a copy at specialty retailers in the US.

Mac English: Squirrel Hunting in South Carolina

“I’m 77 years old and I’m still out here chasing these squirrels. I always have done it.”

We traveled down to South Carolina just about a year ago to spend two days in Sumter National Forest hiking, hunting, photographing and filming none other than Mac English, a champion squirrel hunter. We were out there in the woods – far out there. It was quite the experience, but all things considered, I’d go back and join a hunt any day.

Weekly Wrap-up, October 17th-21st

Two countries, seven cities, three crazy photoshoots. It’s been a long week of editorial shooting and traveling, a week that took us from Philly to upstate New York, Vancouver, Phoenix, North Carolina, and Tennessee. We photographed all sorts of people, from fungus growing entrepreneurs to anthropologists to basketball coaches. All in all – a good week.
