Weekly Wrap-up, December 10th-14th

It’s Friday afternoon and 5,500 miles later we’re wrapping up the week in Philadelphia. We flew out to Los Angeles for a few days to make some photos for an editorial project, and also took advantage of the time out there to get serious and get creative in preparing and designing a big portfolio update for next year – it’s amazing how a change of scenery can spark creativity. More on that in 2013, but for now keep reading to see what we’ve been up to these past few days…

We spent a good chunk of the week on the west coast in Los Angeles working on an editorial shoot.

Can’t you tell I’m enjoy the beautiful 72° and sunny weather? I can’t go a week without an awful test shot of myself it seems.

It wasn’t all fun and games out on the west coast – we locked ourselves in our hotel rooms and got down to some serious business getting ready for the next year. This may have included some serious work on a big portfolio redesign.

After heading back to the east coast, we got down to work editing some video footage that we shot last week. The holidays might be right around the corner, but we’re gonna work right up until Santa’s sleigh flies by the studio.

As far as what you may have missed this week on the internet:

– We reveled a series of photos from our NASCAR shoot earlier this year

– Photo Editor Caitlin Peters has kind words to share about Chris

– Fellow shooter Kevin Twomey shares his experience shooting in St. Moritz Italy

– The Guardian reflects on the balance of technology and photography

– The Pocketwizard Blog featured one of our Heroes of Conservation photoshoots this week

Last but not least…
