Weekly Wrap-up, Janurary 23rd-27th

Well, it finally got cold in Philadelphia – it even snowed a little bit, and with every snowfall came the handful of hazy gray days that follow. Good thing we were busy shooting in the studio. Keep reading to see what else was cooking this week…

Chris and I took some time to get away from the studio, the phone, and our emails to sit down and work on concepting more personal work to shoot this year. That list he’s got in the shot above is the Crisman super-top-secret concept list. I’d tell you about it, but if I did I’d have to kill you afterwards.

This week also involved folding and shooting paper airplanes – tons and tons of paper airplanes. If you need any expert paper airplane pilots, just ask @crismanphoto or I.

You might remember me reporting on our conceptual portrait shoot in the studio last week, well the shot was full steam ahead in retouching as the week went by… it was great to watch it develop, something that we’re gonna be sharing in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.

As far as what you may have missed this week on the internet:

 – We announced a partnership with our new rep, Heather Elder

– Julie Grahame, editor of aCurator blog shared her answers to the meaning of life

– Scott over on Chase Jarvis’s blog has a short but great post titled “No, But I Can Learn”

– Scott Kelby posted a link on twitter showing a sneak-peek at Photoshop CS6

Last but not least…

If anyone was wondering where we get all that Rockstar Fruit Punch… well, it comes in the mail. By the case.
