It’s Friday and although that doesn’t quite mean the end of the week for us, we have another San Antonio wrap-up to share. After a quick weekend in Philadelphia, we were back in Texas kicking off the second round of shoots for the massive campaign we’re working on. The past few days took us from studio shoots to wrangling rhinos to photographing roller-coasters – it has definitely been a wild ride and we have the photos to prove it. Keep reading for more behind the scenes action…

After a quick weekend back at home we were back up in the air and headed back to the fine city of San Antonio Texas.

What’s better than another non-stop run of shooting in the Lone Star state? When you can bring even more of the Crisman team down for the fun. For this run, we’ve got Jared Castaldi and David Ohl in on the fun. Make sure to keep up with Jared and David on instagram for more behind the scenes shots…

Our shoots this week took us inside the studio for a few days – we even broke out some video gear and hotlights as Chris channeled his inner-director.

Our days in the studio welcomed a cast of strange characters, including this Texan soldier.

After being cooped up in the studio for a few days, we made our way to the zoo.

It wasn’t all just fun and games though, we spent the day shooting some very large and sometimes very uncooperative subjects. Don’t worry though, no Hasselblads were harmed in the making of those photos.

As far as what you may have missed this week on the internet:

 – We interviewed rockstar assistant Tye Worthington about his recent move to NYC

 – I shared a meditation on the very serious subject of taking out the garbabe

 – Our rep Heather Elder has the very last installment of Community Table SF – The digestif

 – the Strobist shares photos and thoughts on ambient light from his recent trip to Cuba

Last but not least…

Well, I’m stumped on this one. Sometimes our behind the scenes shots just defy words.
